Changelog
Track what's new in NoSavvy — features, improvements, and fixes with every release.
August 14, 2026Version 1.9.80
Features
- Native form engine now auto-enables on upgrade — all public forms (pre-visit confirmation, crew checklist, and post-job feedback) switch to NoSavvy Native automatically after updating. No manual toggle needed. See Pre-Visit Confirmation Forms and Post-Job Feedback Forms.
Improvements
- Reports dashboard redesigned with a responsive KPI layout — changing the date range now updates charts without a page reload. See Understanding the Reports Dashboard.
- Job detail page now shows all form links in a single "Form Links" card visible to every user, replacing the role-gated split layout. See Viewing Job Details.
- Client name on job detail is now always clickable, linking directly to the client profile. See Viewing Job Details.
- Client list and detail pages now use standard WordPress theme headers and footers for more consistent rendering.
- Job status actions and note saves are more reliable, with clearer error messages when something goes wrong. See Viewing Job Details.
- Role assignment is simpler — only owners can assign the owner role; all other role assignments are unrestricted. See User Roles and Permissions.
Removed
- "Flag Issue" button removed from the job detail page — you can no longer manually flag a job. Existing flags still show "Resolve Issue." See Viewing Job Details.
- Form Engine switcher removed from Form Settings — the native engine is now the only option. The
PATCH /form-engineAPI endpoint returns 410 Gone. - "Client account type" filter removed from the reports dashboard — reports always show all client types combined. See Understanding the Reports Dashboard.
Fixes
- Login page now reflects the WordPress Site Icon and Custom Logo — changes to these settings appear on the NoSavvy login screen instead of a fixed asset.
August 14, 2026Version 1.9.78
Improvements
- Server-side validation on native forms — incomplete submissions are now rejected with clear error messages before they're saved. See Pre-Visit Confirmation Forms and Post-Job Feedback Forms.
- Double-submit protection on all public forms — once a client clicks Submit, further clicks are ignored until the submission succeeds or fails. See Pre-Visit Confirmation Forms and Post-Job Feedback Forms.
- Completed and archived jobs are now fully locked from being moved — both on the schedule board and via the API. See Using the Schedule Board.
- After switching a form type to the native engine, legacy Fluent Forms submissions for that type are automatically blocked — no duplicates from cached pages or old email links.
- Job dates and times are now standardized when saved, preventing future format mismatches across the schedule, jobs list, and reports.
Fixes
- Client names showing blank, "Unknown Client," or "Hello World" in activity logs and job details — now always displays the correct name. See Viewing Job Details.
- Job detail modal breaking for clients with apostrophes or quotes in their name — schedule cards now open correctly for every client. See Using the Schedule Board.
- Job cards disappearing or leaving ghost cards during drag-and-drop saves — cards stay visible until the move is confirmed. See Drag-and-Drop Scheduling.
- Tech users seeing jobs on the schedule board but not in their assigned jobs list (or vice versa) — both views now show the same jobs. See My Assigned Jobs and Using the Schedule Board.
- Phantom "Rescheduled" or "Time changed" activity log entries when nothing actually changed — activity history is now accurate.
- Older jobs missing from the home dashboard's "jobs today" count or appearing out of order — the dashboard now matches the schedule.
- Reports feedback chart bucketing feedback by submission date instead of the job's service date — reports now reflect when work was actually done. See Understanding the Reports Dashboard.
- Completed or archived job cards appearing as draggable on the schedule board — they now show as locked from the first load. See Using the Schedule Board.
- Pre-visit form submissions auto-advancing job status to "Ready" even when no time-confirmation question was shown to the client — status now respects the form's configuration. See Pre-Visit Confirmation Forms.
- Schedule board page rendering with stray theme elements around it — the board now displays cleanly within the app. See Using the Schedule Board.
- Dragging a job to the unassigned queue keeping the old date instead of the board's current date — jobs now adopt the date being viewed. See Using the Schedule Board.
- Clicking a job card mid-drag accidentally opening the job detail modal — dragging and clicking are now fully separate interactions. See Drag-and-Drop Scheduling.
