Managing User Accounts

Edit your own profile and understand how Owners manage team member accounts.

My Profile

Every user can update their own profile from the My Profile page. Edit your avatar, name, phone number, and bio at any time. Your email and role are visible but cannot be changed from this page.

  • Avatar — upload a JPG or PNG image up to 2 MB. If you do not upload one, your initials appear instead.
  • Full name — required. This is the name shown across NoSavvy.
  • Phone number — format as (555) 123-4567.
  • Bio — optional. A short note about yourself visible to your team.
  • Email — read-only. The field is disabled with a note: Email cannot be changed. Contact your administrator to update.
  • Role — shown as a badge in the page header. Not editable from this page.

Email and role can only be changed by an Owner from the team management page. No user, including Owners, can change their own email or role from My Profile.

How Owners Edit Team Members

Owners can edit a team member's name, email, phone, bio, and role from the edit team member page. Open the team page, find the person you want to edit, and click Edit.

  • Full name — required.
  • Email — required. Changing it triggers a confirmation flow.
  • Phone number — optional.
  • Bio — optional.
  • Role — choose from Tech, Manager, or Owner.

When an Owner changes a team member's email, the new address receives a confirmation link valid for 24 hours. The old address receives a notification email. The email change takes effect only after the user clicks the confirmation link from the new address. Name, phone, bio, and role changes save immediately. Only the email waits for confirmation.

Profile vs. Team Management

My Profile is for personal information: your avatar, name, phone, and bio. Team management is for Owners to manage roles, emails, and access for everyone else. Avatar upload is only available from My Profile. You cannot upload or change a team member's avatar from the edit page.
